WHY SUPPORT THE NATHAN EBANKS CHILDREN ADVOCACY GROUP INC. (THE nECAG)
You help the NECAG and its affiliate network provide support for children like:
Ava-Gaye: A teenager girl who has lived all of her life in a children’s home in rural Jamaica. She had never fed herself even a cookie and mealtime consisted of a being fed by a caregiver. After our 6-month habilitation-support intervention, Ava- Gaye built the skill to feed herself. Because she built her confidence by self feeding, she is no longer afraid to eat with her peers at mealtime.
Kemar: is 14 years old with moderate cerebral palsy and severe learning disabilities. His caregiver reported the following: “After seen the NEF trained Aide working with Kemar, communicating with him, his behaviour has changed and I feel confident working with him.”

Become a strategic partner
Corporate partners Whether it’s through monetary gifts, in-kind donations or volunteering, our corporate sponsors have been a vital part of helping us training, intervention and care to children and their families. We tailor partnerships to meet the goals of each corporate donor while also meeting our mission of improving the health and well being of children with disabilities in Jamaica, and their families. We want to extend our sincere gratitude for their generous support over the past year. If you want to become a Corporate Donor, please contact us for possible sponsorships, partnerships and other opportunities.
Foundations and Philanthropic Individuals We partner with organizations that share our commitment to giving children a healthy start, the opportunity to be included and supported and protection from harm. We honor the unique preferences and philanthropic goals of each of our foundation partners. Here are some of the ways you can support:
Matched giving - The matched giving scheme involves the company matching any funds raised by an employee to a specified limit. So, if an employee raises $250, the company will donate a further $250 to the NECAG.
Payroll giving - Companies can set up a Payroll Giving Scheme by signing up with a Payroll Giving agency. The scheme allows employees to donate regularly to the NECAG, which comes off their gross pay and is taken before their tax is paid. Employees have free choice over the amount they'd like to donate, which can be changed or discontinued at any time.
One off CSR donation – Making a lump-sum donation to the NECAG as part of your company’s commitment to philanthropic involvement.
What you can expect from the NECAG in return
Logo - You would be able to use the NECAG’s logo on your own marketing materials to promote your CSR work and support of the charity. We can design a joint logo that can be used for publicity.
Publicity – The opportunity to have your logo featured on our website.
Materials – The NECAG will happily provide any materials which may be required for fundraising, such as photographs, case studies, posters etc.
Communication – The NECAG stays in contact with all of its corporate philanthropists. We keep you regularly updated by email, give you access to our press section for internal use and send you press releases and updates relating to where your donation is being invested and the progress we’re making.
Ongoing support - There will be continual support from the NECAG with someone always available to answer questions, keep you updated on our work and activities and help with developing fundraising ideas.
